Meet Ulthrun!

Meet Ulthrun! - Now, she is 100% brand-spanking new, so there's no storyline for her just yet, she doesn't even have a surname! But I really really love the look, so I'm sure a backstory will be developed in no time. I think she MIGHT be signed onto the Gasworks project, but I don't know.

Although this is my second character to feature a horizontal 50/50 skin colour split (an old OC of mine, Blade, has half-tanned, half demon-skin) - Ulthrun was actually inspired by the infamous and contraversial Rowdy Roddy Piper promos he made about Bad News Brown during the 80s.

I thought to myself, I'd like to sweep all the political or social conflict out of the way, and create a black/white girl who is not here to make a statement, or a message of harmony or to shake anything up, she's just another muscle-babe at the gym, who happens to be both black and white.

Any jokes at the expense of her appearence would be no different to appreciative remarks I'd use for any other character or whatever race they may be. I like pushing boundries naturally, not in a contrived or shock-value manner. If my imagination goes somewhere, I want it to go there, if it doesn't, I don't wanna push anything. This was just a design I really like the idea of doing. And I think it came out cracking, I think she looks gorgeous.

Expect some more from her soon, I'm pretty hyped right now!
