The New Face of Raptor

Well hey there, sunshine!

As many of you may know, I very rarely EVER redesign the faces of my characters. Whenever I do it's usually to correct a reoccurring problem with the model to make the character more usable.

Raptor's face-change is a little bit more complicated. To understand why you have to understand where she came from.

There's an old character of mine from a script called "Terminal 6" called Michelle Ripper. She starred on-board a "Scavenger" ship, which consisted of prison officers to oversee prisoners put to work. - In the story, Michelle gets contaminated in an expedition, slowly changing her body to become an amazon monster called "The Ripper".

Both Michelle Ripper and The Ripper had separate 3D models. - The Ripper was a buffed-out mod of Michelle, and Barscolla Rivens' model eventually became a mod of the Ripper, just with a different skin-texture.

When the Ripper debuted at the store I changed her name to Raptor. This was because Michelle Ripper had already featured in a comic against Violet Calbion and I couldn't be bothered to explain why they shared the same name.

BUT... ...now, not only has Raptor become a character in her own right, I am in the midst of making a comic with her battling Barscolla!! - And furthermore, once again I am working on the Terminal 6 script, meaning that at SOME point we *might* find Raptor fighting the Ripper!!

In short, it's time to let Raptor do her own thing. She's had comics against some of the biggest names in Realms and Void, so I'd say she's MORE than earned it!
